All subscriptions are valid for 12 months and automatically renew unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the subscription. The renewal cost is charged within 24 hours before the current subscription expires. Subscriptions can be managed by the user, and auto-renewal can be disabled in the account settings in the Google Play Store after purchase.
